we’ll replace your order if it arrives defective or damaged. replacements will be posted using the same postage method as your original order. contact us and we’ll help you out. please have your order number and clear photos of the damage handy.
I ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE.
we’ll exchange your order for the correct size. you’ll have to cover the cost of return shipping and shipping costs on your new order. we’ll refund you the difference if there is any. contact us and we’ll help you out. please have your order number handy.
I CHANGED MY MIND.
we discourage “change of mind” returns. as a sustainable business, we analyse the impact of every business decision that we make from an environmental point of view and free online “change of mind” returns are really bad for the environment. this harm comes in the form of reverse logistics shipping/delivery emissions and all the waste generated as a result of damaged packaging on returned goods. this could be reduced if we all shopped smarter and bought only what we really need.
before placing an order please be careful to choose the correct product(s) and ensure that they fit all of your requirements by discussing with our customer service team via our contact us page. we’re always here to help you to choose the correct products before you place an order. we’ll try to get back to you within 1 business day.
a handy checklist before placing an order:
- measure your products to ensure that they will fit in our bags. if in doubt, we recommend going with a larger size. the dimensions of each of our products is listed in our store. we also offer sample packs of our products so that you can try them out before committing to a large order.
- make sure that our bags are suitable for the products you intend to package. e.g fragile and sharp products are generally not suitable for mailing in unpadded bags and should be boxed for freight.
- make sure that you will use all of your order before their best before date. we don’t recommend posting compostable mailers after their best before date because, due to their organic nature, they will start to decompose and lose their strength.
I RECEIVED MY ORDER MORE THAN 14 DAYS AGO, CAN I RETURN IT?
our products quickly biodegrade, particularly when exposed to moisture and organic matter, so we can only accept returns which were delivered to you less than 14 days ago.
I’VE REMOVED MY ORDER FROM ITS PROTECTIVE PACKAGING, CAN I RETURN IT?
yes, however if you’ve reduced the value of your order by removing it from its original protective packaging, creasing, folding or wrinkling it, etc we may charge you a fee or reduce the value of your refund. please return your order in the same condition you received it, and preferably in the original protective packaging.
this returns policy does not affect your Statutory Rights as a consumer.

you will be responsible for paying all shipping costs for returns. when returning an item consider using a trackable shipping service. no refunds or exchanges will be issued for returns that are lost in the post. please pack returns in a way that means they don’t get damaged. we may charge you a fee or reduce the value of your refund if your return arrives damaged.
once your return is received, we’ll send you an email to confirm that we’ve received it. your item(s) will be inspected and we’ll notify if a refund/exchange has been approved.
approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of your return. refunds will be provided as a credit applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS.
if it’s been 14 days since your refund was approved but the refund still hasn’t been credited to your account, please check your account again, then contact your bank/credit card company. it can take some time before your refund shows up. if you’ve done all of this and you still haven’t received your refund, please contact us.
